Unique Family Holiday Traditions - Poker for Dinner Dishes

We are fortunate to have wonderful customers with wonderful and unique holiday traditions. We love when our customers share their treasured family holiday traditions with us! As a service to all our customers (and great fun for us!) we like to share some of the unique holiday traditions that customers have shared with us. Here is a unique family holiday tradition that was sent to us by the Marx family in Oregon:

Poker for Dinner Dishes!

After the traditional family meal on Christmas Eve consisting of ham, turkey, green bean casserole and three kinds of pie, the Marx family looks forward to the family holiday tradition of playing poker. The stakes are high - the three people who lose must do ALL the dishes and Christmas dinner cleanup! Kids as young as 6 are proficient in poker skills as parents and siblings coach and teach and practice for weeks leading up Christmas. Sometimes, the games go well into the night and clean-up doesn't happen until after midnight!

The Marx family shared this wonderful tradition with us when they were purchasing their MATCHING FAMILY CHRISTMAS PAJAMAS that they all wear during the annual christmas poker game! Last year they chose A Very Merry Me matching christmas pajama sets for the whole family. This year they have purchased matching sets in our brand new family matching pajamas I PLAY REINDEER GAMES design. Have fun Marx family and thank you for sharing!
